windows and box gutters are fun

Had to clean the box gutters on the carriage house and the flat roof on the back of the house.  Both had small trees growing at this point! Need to get the 3rd floor gutter cleaned out as well.  Unfortunately I have no ladders that tall.  Looks like I need to rent a lift or hire someone to go up there.

And while I was on the flat roof in back I figured now was the time to get the window that's up there unstuck.

I took the storm window down and cut the paint with a knife that was sealing the windows shut.  It looks like whoever last painted took down the storms and painted the windows and never made sure they opened from the inside.  So one down and many, many more windows to go!  At least this window opens now.
